How to teach kids about body safety & consent
I don’t know about you but I was never taught about body safety or consent. Let alone my growing body, puberty or sex. It just wasn't the type of conversations I had with my parents. Left to my own devices, friends and media became my biggest teachers.
I don’t want this for my kids.
I want to be involved in helping them understand boundaries, their bodies, and how to keep themselves safe.
I want to give you my 7-step process on teaching kids about body consent and safety.

To me, quality boils down to being: 👶🏽Age appropriate (made exactly for your child’s age range and development). 📚Educational and/or inspiring (versus just entertaining). 💃🏽Engaging and interactive (encourages them to participate either by calling out answers, dancing, sharing their ideas...

Thank you for sharing all this valuable information! I teach PreK and was looking for videos to share with our parents to help them out. Thank you Dr. Jazmine!
Thank you for this!
Thank you!
Thank you for this. I literally stopped my 3 year old from watching a show that had themes that did not align with our family values. She has been asking why she can’t watch it and this has been super helpful
BLUEY is a double sided coin for me personally. Of course it is cute & has very sweet, touching relatable moments….. but it also has snarky replies from the kids, not a lot of realistic discipline from the parents, and the squealing laughter 🙉 ugh. Does anyone else feel this way about this super popular show? I get why people love it, and have enjoyed it but don’t let my kids watch multiple episodes of it in a row anymore. Of Behaviors are so influential!

“There isn’t a problem, that we can’t solve together.” This works well for my 5 year old 💗
Thank you so much! ❤❤❤ I will use them. “Us against the issue” 😊
My child’s friend group is all around toxic. They are 9/10 and it’s been going on for years. Lots of friends on/off situations. I wish there were more resources for when your child is the aggressor. It always seems to be focused on the “good” child and not the “bad” child. I use quotes because I know that’s not really correct, but it does have that undertone. I’m dealing with both sides of the coin!
I need this do you have a video dealing with attitudes and talking back my 5 year old is going through this bad
Hahaha saaaammeeee! I'm thinking it's just the age/stage? Feeling more independent and trying to assert themselves? Hang in there mama!!!❤
This video is such a great motivator! I’ve noticed myself kind of worn out and slipping on these things, but I’m reminded of all the things you teach us here and IG. Thank you!
My 7 year old have been diagnosed with adhd..At the age of two my mom had her fully potty trained and when I tell you she has never had accident at home or school not even once its kind of unbelievable..as an infant she hated poop and pee on her.I can imagine how hard it is to deal with🙏
are all of these full free apps or are there any in app purchases ? cause I tried few apps where after couple of levels they asked for subscription. plz confirm that all are free apps fully without any sort of payment.

Work on Yourself and Discipline yourself to help Make a Better Place
My youngest boy is 3 years old. He sleeps like a newborn baby.. wakes up on and off all night long.. still wants a bottle at night.. which is getting really hard to break... I am currently 14 weeks pregnant and I feel like I can't do it anymore but I am lost in words and I don't know what to do :( he also sleeps in my room on my bed with me :'c
Hello! I am looking into the membership but I don’t think the page is working, is this correct?
Love love your videos thankyou
Great advice! ❤❤❤
Its interesting to me how so many people have problems calling the behaviour of a child manipulative. If we let go of judging the label we are more capable of honestly accessign the behaviour and guide them towards succes. Denying, enabling or justifying this behaviour will set a child up for failure. As a parent you might be blind to their strategies, but I assure you that when they are grown its the lack of you guidance for those behaviours that will cause them to have failed marriages, job relations, friendships and
"It's OK if your child is bored"....thank you thank you.
Never regret listening to your videos. I’m always able to learn something new and reaffirm things that I am doing, which helps to give me confidence that I am doing a good job.
I do this with my high schoolers!! They love it lol it .
I can’t see the caption. Omg what is the most important part. Send help lol
Yes reality definitely did not meet my expectations today. Absolutely angry 😫
My kindergartner told me yesterday that she wanted to be her twin sister because "she is skinny and I am fat" 😭 she has always been bigger than her twin and this year she has really started to notice this even though I've read books and told her that all bodies are good bodies. Yesterday her twin learned to ride a bike with no training wheels before she did (even though I was teaching them at the same time) and she started crying and then said that. It broke my heart. I told her that her ability to learn how to ride a bike had nothing to do with her body size. Ugh 💔

Wow that does feel good on my body or here’s what we can do instead ❤
She’s been whining since she was 6 months old and is now almost 14 months. I have extreme insomnia and pain everywhere so this is just a bit too much. I feel that the past 3 days I have started to lose my patience but just for a few seconds but no matter what I do it seems to not work! She’s too smart lol
How do I do this with my 9 year old I’m just now finding out about this. I know I suck. But I didn’t get this growing up. But what could I do with her ? She likes dog grooming if that helps
Hey! I really appreciate this video. I'm hoping it helps me regulate my child's behaviour a little better. My situation, though, is that my son, who is 2 and a half, often asks one of his cousins to leave a room. It's not my sons house, so I don't find this acceptable, and neither would I feel comfortable asking this person to leave the room. How can I talk about this to my son ?
